• Waking up this morning after having dreamt of my mother and feeling like we had spent a day together.
• The smell of my apple cinnamon candle burning.
• Vons.com grocery delivery.
• Reading a theological thesis written by one of my coworkers.
• Watching my dog find the sunny spot on the floor and curl up in it.
• K-Cups in many flavors.
• Coconut milk coffee creamer.
• Letters from Betsy.
• Getting a Jury Duty notice in the mail. (Really.)
• The smell of fresh sage
• Getting a notice on the Affordable Care Act from my work and thinking of all the uninsured Americans who are rejoicing at such emails knowing they can finally get medical insurance. (I know some may disagree, but unless you've watched a loved one die because they couldn't afford the treatments that would cure them, please don't talk to me about it.)
• Anna and Robert on General Hospital talking about Faison and knowing I will see him soon.
• Making Pumpkin Lasagna for dinner.
• Eating said Pumpkin Lasagna.
• Enjoying a glass of red wine.
• Watching Master Chef Jr and seeing kids cooking.
• Feeling empowered on matters of health and diet.
• My husband bringing a Julian Pie home even though I'm dieting and discovering I have enough points to eat it without feeling like a loser.
