Stuff I Like on October 31, 2013

• My grandkids in Halloween Costumes.
• Hempler's Uncured Pepper Bacon.
• Mac Daddy's daily hand-kisses and flattery. :)
• Impromptu lunch with the coolest girls ever.
• Filling up a giant bowl with candy to pass out to princesses, superheroes, witches, ninjas, and various other odd characters
• Hearing little voices at my door saying "Trick or Treat!"
• Reminiscing about my own Halloween memories and remembering what a sweet childhood I had.
• Making a big bowl of homemade Mac and Cheese for Jeff and I to eat while we passed out candy.
• A pack of giggling tween girls all arriving in identical Minnie Mouse costumes. 
• A kid who shrieked "ALMOND JOY!!!!" as though he had won the lottery.
• A kid who shrieked "REESES!" as though he had won the lottery.
• Kids who asked if they could take extra candy for "my sick sister" "my friend who couldn't come" or any other phantom child whose identity they used to get more candy.
• Adults who dressed up with their kids.
• My naive neighbor across the street who really thought she could just leave all her candy out on her porch in a bowl and kids would follow her "Just take one" sign.
• Cool autumn night air.
• Seeing my life change from being the poor family who takes their kids to the nice neighborhood to trick or treat, to living in the nice neighborhood where kids come to trick or treat.
